The Masters Golf Tourney and Intellectual Property

Hard to believe it is already that time of year; specifically the time of year that I recycle prior posts about the Masters golf tournament and intellectual property.

Check out my 2007 post "One More Reason to Admire Augusta National – The Trademark Portfolio", which illustrates there are some pretty smart people who know how to capitalize on Augusta's fame.

Additionally, can you guess "Which 3 Masters Champions are also Patent Holders?" HERE is an update regarding a utility patent issued in September to one of the winners.

Lastly, if you think the green coats are serious about cell phones on the course, just imagine what they would do if you didn't respect their intellectual property (see "Augusta National Throws the Book at Game Maker").

Enjoy.
