Filing a Trademark Application is a Piece of Cake… Right?

A fellow blogger over at the Trademark Branding Cap site has a funny post that is a must read for anyone considering filing a trademark application on their own.

It is common for self-filers to end up spending more for the assistance of an attorney to try to straighten out the self-filers mistakes than the filer would have paid to have the attorney do the work from the beginning. Just like the fact that I could try to fix my car’s air conditioning system myself to save a couple hundred bucks… only to end up spending more to have a qualified mechanic fix the mess that I created.
