A Blast from the Past… Can You Identify The Manufacturer of this Hybrid Set?

Hybrids, iron-woods, rescue clubs, utility clubs, … whatever you call them, it seems as though their popularity is growing every year. The following figures come from a utility patent directed to a hybrid set. Can you identify the manufacturer? (scroll way down for the answer)

Click here to check out USPN 4,762,322 titled “Golf Club,” which issued to Spalding in 1988. While I have no hard proof, the patent appears related to the Spalding Executive XE hybrids of the mid, to late, 1980’s. Check out the following figures photos.
