IP Grab of the Week – Fu Sheng’s Elastically Deformable Club Head

The IP grab of the week goes to the Fu Sheng (the largest golf club head manufacturer in the world). Fu Sheng’s patent application titled “Golf Club Head Having a High-Degree Elastically Deformable Structure” published on April 12, 2007 as US Publication No. 2007/0082751. The application is directed to a club head having a reduced thickness crown section, seen below, enhances the elastic deformation of the club head at impact.

Definitely an interesting concept! Congratulations Fu Sheng.
