A Big Day for Lefty; Golf Club Designer Phil Mickelson Granted His Second Patent

That’s right, today Callaway was granted a patent listing Lefty as an inventor (the first named inventor in fact). You will probably recognize the club if you are a true golf geek, and it was all the commentators seemed to talk about at Bethpage.

The patent granted as USPN D616,512 titled “Hybrid Golf Club Head.” Check it out!

Good work Phil! Unfortunately the club must not have had enough widespread appeal to produce a commercial version.
